Sandia Crest Behavioral Health is more than a treatment center, it’s a place of hope. We serve individuals and families across New Mexico through a continuum of behavioral health services, including inpatient psychiatric care, detoxification programs, and partial hospitalization programs (PHP).
Our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate mental health care that honors the unique experiences of every person we serve. By combining clinical expertise with cultural understanding, we empower patients to find stability and reclaim their well-being.
Our Continuum of Care
We provide comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment options for adolescents (ages 12–17) and adults (18+).
Inpatient Psychiatric Care
A secure, structured environment for individuals in crisis. Our inpatient program offers 24/7 medical and therapeutic support for those experiencing severe emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, psychosis or acute psychiatric symptoms. Average stay is 10–14 days, with personalized discharge planning to support long-term success.
Detoxification Services
Medical detox programs designed for both adolescents and adults, ensuring safety and comfort during withdrawal and stabilization prior to ongoing treatment.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our Adult PHP provides structured, day-long treatment Monday through Friday (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), blending therapy, medication management, holistic wellness activities and nutrition counseling. This dual-diagnosis program addresses both mental health and substance use disorders, offering integrated care that supports recovery of the whole person.
Adolescent PHP
Our Adolescent PHP mirrors the structure of the adult program and runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. It provides a supportive environment for teens ages 12–17, helping them maintain emotional stability and academic progress during treatment.
